TAG! You're It!

Rachel Hauck tagged an author-friend of mine, Kristy Dykes, who "tagged" me along with 5 others. Two of them, Ane Muligan and Lena Dooley, have already responded, and now here's mine:

Six Weird Things About Amber:

1. I can't settle on a name to which I answer when called, so I usually sign my emails as "Tiff/Amber." First and middle together. I usually go by the first and my books will be published under the middle.

2. I have an alterego online that I assume when I wish to remain anonymous.

3. I have several Hollywood connections and can pick up the phone to call the home of an international celebrity...and have her recognize me.

4. I own a pair of Tiki-bird slippers of a rather substantial size. :) They are renowned in the ACFW writing world and I'm forbidden to attend an annual conference without them.

5. My dog cleans up after dinner and carries plates/dishes to the kitchen. He also deposits trash in the cans when directed and carried canned beverages to anyone in the house.

6. At any given minute, there is at least one other character in my head...sometimes more than one. So, I regularly suffer from split-personality issues as the characters battle for control. Then again, as an author, that's not unusual.

Now, here's who I've tagged:

Stuart Stockton
Shannon McNear
Heather Tipton
Camy Tang
Meredith Efken
Michelle Sutton

Let's see if they play too! :)

But anyone else, feel free to participate as well in the comments or on your own blog/web site. Would love to know I'm not alone in being "weird." :)

I'm sitting here trying to think of six weird things about myself and can't come up with anything. It's not that I'm normal - far from it - rather I'm just not sure where to begin! I'll probably post my list later. :-) My husband could probably rattle off a dozen without even stopping to take a breath! LOL! But who wants to be normal? That's just boring! LOL!!

Well, Shauna, you don't have to come up with *6* right off the bat. Took me a little while on the list I gave. Like you though, I could've consulted my brothers (don't have a husband yet) and they could've rattled off at least 10. LOL!

Even just 1 would be fine. And come back if you think of more. :)

Will you come train MY dog, please? I need you. Mine will retrieve anything I throw at him, but he won't let go. LOL A typical Mastiff trait, I'm told. And he nibbles. On people. LOL That's his affectioante thing. If he likes you, he nibbles on you.

I've heard abotu those slippers, but haven't seen them yet. In Dallas - you gotta apromise, Tiff.

Ane, you know the funny part is we didn't "train" our dog to do that. He just started. So no clue how to train one at it. LOL!

And you haven't seen the slippers?!? OMGoodness, where were you in Nashville and Dallas? How could you miss those? I'll have a special show-n-tell time for you this year. Stop by the bookstore.

Camy, thanks for posting your link. The toilet-seat cover thing is ingenious!

Third time's a charm, Michelle. If you posted your list already, share the link to the exact page so we can check them out.

Okay, I've thought of one. In most things I can be very decisive. I know the best driving route to get somewhere and if my husband takes a wrong turn, heaven help him. When leading worship, I'm very precise in what I want, to the point where the team members have called me, among the more polite things, a drill seargant! But ask me to make a choice about food - where to eat, what dessert I want - and I can't decide. I mean, I stand there debating the pros and cons of each to the point that I get seriously stressed and get a headache! I love food and asking me to pick is like asking me to decide who's my favorite child! Ridiculous, I know.

Is that a weird thing? I just know it drives my husband crazy! LOL!

LOL! Shauna, that's classic. Decisive about everything but food. What a hoot. :) I bet that *does* drive your dh crazy.

Great to see you here, Kristy.
